Scheppach to the rescue
Scheppach GmbH donated around 1,500 urgently required machines to people affected by flooding in the Günzburg area. This aid campaign was for the benefit of the Bavarian Red Cross District Association of Günzburg. The equipment was handed out at Max-Planck-Straße 8, 89312 Günzburg (Hall 38 opposite the Scheppach factory outlet) from Tuesday, 4 June 2024 from 14:30 to 17:00 CET, then from Wednesday to Friday from 07:00 to 17:00 CET.
The following products were available in limited supply:
- NTS30v2 and ASP50-ES Wet/Dry Vacuum Cleaner
- SG3200x Petrol Generator
- SG3400i Inverter Generator
- DWP750 Waste Water Combination Pump
- HCP2600 Petrol High-Pressure Cleaner
- AB1500X Demolition Hammer
- DH6100x and DH8000x Building Dehumidifier (from late June/early July 2024)
Conditions for collection: The items were exclusively given to individuals affected by flooding from the GZ region (no companies). A valid form of identification had to be supplied.
Stephan W. Müller, Managing Director of Scheppach GmbH, organised the campaign with Regional Managing Director of the Bavarian Red Cross in Günzburg, Daniel Freuding, and the First Chairman, Hans Reichhart sen., at short notice.
