Job overview
During their apprenticeship, industrial clerks experience a variety of departments like materials management, sales and marketing, HR, finance, and invoicing. They collect quotations, process orders, and monitor goods received. They will also enter invoices for receivables or send invoices to our customers and monitor payment receipt. They will be in close contact with our suppliers and customers domestically, and also internationally. After their apprenticeship, they will be capable of working in any department of the company.

The e-commerce clerk apprenticeship (m/f/x) is likely one of the most diverse careers in the commercial area. Your tasks will not only include creation and administration of the online shop, but also web analysis, programming, and of course also finance. When new products are planned to go online, you’re responsible for making sure product data are entered properly, product images are uploaded, and the correct payment methods are available. In addition, the online shop and the corresponding products need to be marketed properly. The sales and marketing channels that are most suitable are selected by you according to various criteria. And in order to become better and promote the shop, key indicator analyses are among your tasks. This is the only way you can discover which strategy is the most effective and where their is still need for improvement. Creativity is number one in this case.

Apprentices will learn about shipping and its various practical components and work areas (domestic shipping, international shipping, package services, warehousing/external warehousing). They will process package services and support delivery workers in diverse areas like dispatching orders and deliveries, package services, loading and unloading lorries, warehouse management, inventory/counting, and securing loads. Apprentices also participate in inter-company training courses to achieve a forklift driver’s license. After their apprenticeship, warehouse specialists are employed in warehouse logistics.

The dual course of studies connects theory and practice, and the dual studies college in Heidenheim (DHBW) assumes instruction of the study programme contents. We arrange ourselves according to the study curriculum and plan your practical phases in the corresponding departments so that you can apply and strengthen your technical knowledge directly in your daily work.

Job overview
The trade business management study programme provides basic knowledge in the area of business management with a focus on trade, which is expanded by practical topics in the area of information technologies: students examine modern information and communication technologies intensively to shorten value-added chains and acquire new sales channels. In addition, intercultural social and methodical skills, as well as relevant technologies in the area of international trade are also instructed specifically.
The trade business management study programme contains lectures on the subjects of
